Breast Cancer Portrait Project

is a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Their mission is to inspire early detection of breast cancer in young women through collections of stories, photographs, and speaking engagements.

The founder of BCPP Missy Peters, passionately encourages women to know their bodies, after having her own delayed diagnosis. She now photographs women diagnosed before 40 years old to convey the larger story that YOUNG WOMEN GET BREAST CANCER TOO.
